Malay Oza, Founder, ForestRP

ForestRP is currently led myself, a solo founder, a self-taught developer (with experience in building software system for ForestRP and managing team in the finance sector in job earlier), and an admirer of Natural Vistas.
Over the past several years, I have worked extensively with digital billing systems and operations management software, and experienced how great an impact it can leave on a sector. This shaped my will to work for industry I love and led to JungleGenie's reservation management, billing, and reporting infrastructure.
What drives me? short story is, I am fixated on a goal to help communities and organisations associated with forests by helping them earn sustainable income with nature-tourism and luckily, I am the target audience of the OTA I am building, so I know what my target customers are going to need. To support this, I have done survey to perfect the OTA and validated with prototype testing at nature reserve as existing OTAs are not doing needed magic for nature-tourism. Our long-term vision involves building a multidisciplinary team across technology, partnerships, and conservation tourism expertise. The early focus has been on developing the core product and validating the concept before expanding the team. As the platform grows, ForestRP plans to bring in additional team members and potential co-founders with complementary expertise in ecotourism operations, partnerships, and regional expansion.

Current goal is to help communities and organisations associated with forests by digitising nature-tourism and thereby helping to earn sustainable income.

Down the line, we will expand our scope to build wider ecosystem in the forest sector.
